Halo Leisure, a social enterprise and registered operating leisure facilities in Herefordshire, Bridgend County, Shropshire and Wiltshire was runner up in the Employee Engagement Award at the recent UK Social Enterprise Awards,  at the Guildhall in the City of London.

The national awards organised by Social Enterprise UK (SEUK) shines a spotlight on the leading lights of the social enterprise community, recognising the outstanding achievements of businesses which trade for a social purpose.

A FIRST for Wales as a local authority and delivery partner are rated EXCELLENT for joint QUEST Active Communities assessment. QUEST recognised the impact the partnership between Halo Leisure and Bridgend County Borough Council is making in tackling inactivity and improving participation by awarding an EXCELLENT in their recent Active Communities assessment.

No time like the present to make a resolution for next year. And we reckon it should start with a sign up to the amazing Miners TRIal set in the heart of Shropshire Hills and raising money for good causes.
