Celebrating Record-Breaking Swimathon 2026 Fundraising Success
Smashed Out of the Water!
We are absolutely thrilled to announce the official fundraising results for Swimathon 2026! Back in March, swimmers of all ages and abilities dove into the deep end at Halo pools across our regions, tracking their lengths and testing their limits to support two incredible causes: Marie Curie UK and Cancer Research UK.
Today, we can finally reveal the jaw-dropping grand total raised by the Halo community.
Our swimmers didn’t just meet their goals this year; they completely rewrote the record books. Take a look at how our community stepped up year-on-year:
Pure Inspiration in the Lanes
We see the hard work our members put into their training every single week, but seeing that dedication translate into such an inspiring community achievement is genuinely special.
Whether it was individuals taking on the ultimate 5k challenge, triple-5k teams splitting the distance, or families participating in the casual 1.5k events, the energy across our leisure centres was unmatched.
Managing and coordinating Swimathon takes a massive team effort. We want to extend a huge congratulations to our brilliant centre teams who kept the music playing, counted lengths, and cheered on our swimmers from the poolside.
