Summer at the Severn Centre

The Severn Centre Outdoor Pool is officially OPEN for the 2026 season.

From now until 1st September, our 25m, 4-lane heated pool is the place to be. Whether you are a local regular or a first-time visitor, there is nothing quite like the feeling of swimming under the open Shropshire sky.

Something for Every Summer Vibe

We’ve designed our timetable to make sure everyone can enjoy the water:

  • For the Fitness Seekers: Smash your cardio goals in our dedicated Lane Swimming sessions. Fresh air and 25 meters of heated water make for the ultimate morning workout!

  • For the Families: Our poolside lawn area is ready for action! It’s the perfect spot for kids to have some aqua-fun while parents relax in the sunshine.

  • For the Zen-Seekers: Looking to unwind? Enjoy a leisurely dip followed by a hot coffee or a cold drink on the poolside.

How to Join the Fun

We want to make getting poolside as easy as possible. You have three ways to get involved:

  • The Halo App: The quickest way to see live availability and book your favourite slot up to 14 days in advance.

  • The Season Swim Pass: If you’re planning on being a regular, this is your best value option! Enjoy unlimited swimming all summer long.

  • Reception: Stop by to grab a day pass or call our team on 01746 860 000 to secure your Season Pass over the phone.

From Aquafit classes that get your heart racing to Swimming Lessons for the little ones and Quiet Swim sessions, there is always something happening.
