Want to give a group exercise class a go but not sure which one's for you? We've tried to give you a flavour of our fitness classes below. Still stuck? Speak to a fitness instructor at your local Halo centre and they will be happy to help you identify the right class. Please note not all classes are available at all centres. Circuits - A class with multiple exercise stations focusing on specific muscle groups and types of fitness to give you an all over calorie busting workout.
Indoor Cycling - Indoor cycling is a group exercise class performed on stationary bikes. During the class, the instructor simulates hill-climbing, sprints, and races. You will be motivated by the instructor, the people around you, and the music.
High Impact Classes - HIIT is a total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. This interval-based class combines full body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and clear your mind.
Legs, Bums and Tums - Full body aerobic workout building in a whole series of exercises aimed at specifically toning up your legs, bum and tum. Hitting all three key problem areas in one fun-packed but very effective class.
Aqua Aerobics - Tone and sculpt your body with no impact to your joints. This water aerobics workout is a swimming blend of cardio and resistance training, and may incorporate resistance tools such as buoyant water weights, hand paddles and floats.
