Are you passionate about keeping others safe and making a positive impact in your community? Here's your chance to do just that! We're seeking dedicated volunteers to join our team at the Severn Centre Highley and help ensure the safety and enjoyment of our customers in our outdoor pool.

As a Lifeguard Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in creating a social and safe environment for swimmers at the Severn Centre. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring Pool Safety: Keeping a vigilant eye on swimmers to ensure their safety at all times.
  • Assisting Swimmers: Offering support and assistance to pool users as needed.
  • Emergency Response: Being prepared to respond swiftly and effectively in the event of an emergency.
  • Promoting a Positive Environment: Creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all visitors to the pool.

We provide comprehensive training and support for all our volunteers, including those without prior lifeguarding experience. Whether you're new to lifeguarding or already hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, we welcome you to join our team. Our volunteers enjoy ongoing training, advice, and guidance to ensure they feel confident and prepared in their role.

Whether you are already a lifeguard or just someone with a warm heart and a willingness to attend a 1 week course to gain their National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, we welcome you with open arms to join our team of dedicated volunteers.
