Aberfan Community Centre Swimming

Welcome to the world of water at Aberfan Community Centre.
Exciting news - The pool will be CLOSED on 19th March from 8am - 4pm to install a new cover.

Where you can enjoy:

  • 25 metre,  5 lane pool 
  • Aqua group exercise classes 

The pool is open in the morning until evening so you can get in the water at a time to suit your schedule!

FREE Swimming

There are 3 ways you can splash for no cash:

Children paying for their swimming lessons by Direct Debit can swim for FREE at any public swimming session.

Under 16’s and over 60’s can swim for FREE as part of the Welsh Government’s Free Swimming Initiative (FSI).

FREE Swim Sessions. Please check your local pool timetable to see when we run these sessions. All you need to do is sign up for your FREE Halo card at Reception and swipe it each time you want to attend one of our free swimming sessions.
