RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)

Halo is delighted to offer you the chance to train for an internationally recognised qualification in one of the most important and satisfying roles in leisure. The qualification - the RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) - can also be a stepping stone to a career within the leisure industry.

At the moment the training takes place at Halo centres in Herefordshire, Shropshire and South Wales (but we hope to offer it at Highworth in the future). The course runs for 36 hours (with an optional 1.5 hours if you want to add in Automated External Defibrillation) and costs £275. It includes physical training, theoretical classroom work, practical in-water and out-of-water assessment on pool rescue, first aid, CPR and lifesaving skills.
