Our team of trained Swim England/STA swimming teachers offer a superb inclusive swimming programme at our pool in Bridgnorth. The programme's are available to children (from 6 months), and the classes ensure improved water confidence and swimming technique while allowing children to progress at their own pace.
We are offering a free swimming skills assessment for children with one of our qualified swimming instructors - a gentle, fun session to assess your child's confidence in water, and to advise parents or carers on the next step in developing the young persons swimming ability and confidence in the water and the lessons they need to keep them safe. Swim Tots- 6 months - 4 years
A magical way to introduce babies (from 5 months old) and toddlers (up to school age) to water in a supervised, fun, supportive way with an instructor on hand to guide you through the session. Perfect for little ones and their grown-ups who join them in the water. Music, toys, floats, rhymes and games will keep you and your small swimmers well and truly entertained.
Sessions take place at: Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre on a Mondays at 10:15-10:45 & Fridays 10:00 - 10:30 and 10:35 - 11:05 (during school term time only)

Group swimming lessons for children 4+
These weekly half-hour sessions are for children who are in mainstream, full-time school or equivalent and are confident enough to get in the pool without you. They'll work (at their own pace) through 7 stages to become confident, competent swimmers. The programme follows the Swim England Learn To Swim Framework -To find out what each stage covers: click here
Group lessons run every weekday from 4pm and Saturday & Sunday mornings. The programme is continuous assessment and movement. You can book at any time where vacancies are available.

Learn to swim crash courses for children
We often run crash courses during school holidays. Ideal if you want to improve technique, confidence and water skills in a short period of time.

Fit Swim
When children have reached the end of our ‘learn to swim’ programme and successfully gained Stage 7 we offer a Fit Swim session. A 30 minute laned swimming session with poolside coaching focusing on maintaining good technique and building stamina and distance swimming. There is no need to book just turn up and take the plunge.
Tuesdays 4pm to 4.30pm
Family Swim
You’ll hear squeals of delight and splashes of water...as you bond as a family, build memories, get fit and have fun. Floats and toys are sure to keep the whole family entertained. Available to family groups only. Not suitable for lone swimmers.
