Exciting News: The Swimming Pool at Fairwater Leisure Centre is Open!
The wait is over! Thanks to significant investment from our partner, Torfaen County Borough Council, the pool at Fairwater Leisure Centre is officially back in action and ready for you to dive back in.
Here is everything you need to know about our latest phase of reopening:
🏊 Private Hire is Now Open – we are thrilled to announce that the pool is now available for private hire bookings. Whether you are a local club or a private group, we are ready to welcome you back to the water.
🌊 Swimming Lessons Restarting from 23rd February – Our Learn to Swim programme is officially returning! We know many of you have been eager to get back to your lessons, and we are excited to see our swimmers progressing again.
Dates: Starting Monday, 23rd February
Days: Monday – Friday
Times: 4pm – 6pm
Levels: Waves 1, 2, 3, & 4

Looking for a Public Swim? While general public swimming isn’t quite ready to return to Fairwater just yet, you don’t have to miss out on your workout. You can use your existing membership or pay-as-you-go at our nearby sites:
- Cwmbran Stadium
- Pontypool Active Living Centre
