Whether you’re looking to get fit, or just unwind after a long day, our swimming facilities at Cwmbran Stadium have something for you.

We also offer swimming lessons, aqua fitness classes and various Free Public Swims for Under 16’s and Families at Cwmbran Stadium, Pontypool Active Living Centre and Fairwater Leisure Centre.‍

We also offer free swim sessions for Over 60’s in our Gentle Swim sessions and our Aqua Aerobics classes are also FREE for Over 60’s.

FREE Swimming

There are 4 ways you can splash for no cash:

Children paying for their swimming lessons by direct debit can swim for FREE at any public swimming session.

Under 16’s and over 60’s can swim for FREE as part of the Welsh Government’s Free Swimming Initiative (FSI).

FREE Swim Sessions. Please check your local pool timetable to see when we run these sessions. All you need to do is sign up for your FREE Halo card at Reception and swipe it each time you want to attend one of our free swimming sessions.

As part of our commitment to getting children swimming from the outset, little ones aged under 4 can come along to a public swimming session for FREE!
