Sparks Squad
The Sparks Squad represents the heart of our competitive gymnastics team, where athletes train with intensity and focus to represent Halo Sparks at the highest club and regional levels.
WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Sparks Squad is the highest level for gymnasts that have successfully progressed through the pathway. Sparks Squad will be training in competitive gymnastics at the highest level in national and compulsory grade competitions.
BUILD CONFIDENCE
The session will be an interactive and structured weekly session taught by Halo Sparks coaches who will be guiding and supporting your child each step of the way to prepare them for regional competitions and progression to National or compulsory grades.
REWARDING
Gymnasts will still be working to the National Gymnastics Awards Programme giving them the opportunity to achieve medals at each level they are working at.
CHARACTERISTICS
Gymnasts need to have the physical and emotional characteristics to compete at the highest levels above Club, County and Regional Levels. These characteristics include; focus, determination, willingness to work, competitive spirit and patience. It can take years to develop these skills and our Sparks Coachings guide and support the gymnasts each step of their journey.
