Sparks Novice
Our Novice Squad offers a supportive entry into competitive gymnastics, allowing athletes to perfect their skills and build confidence before stepping onto the competition floor.
WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Sparks Novice group is for gymnasts that have been selected by our Halo Sparks coaches who have recognised a natural ability in the gymnast to progress to compete at local and regional competitions.
BUILD CONFIDENCE
The session will be an interactive and structured weekly session taught by Halo Sparks coaches who will be guiding and supporting your child each step of the way to prepare them for competitions where they will be using 3 or 4 pieces of apparatus at regional level.
REWARDING
The gymnast will be working to the National Gymnastics Awards Programme giving them the opportunity to achieve medals at each level they are working at.
FUN & ENGAGING
This class still has the fun, interactive, social side of gymnastics while working on progression of the conditioning and flexibility side of the sport. This session also promotes interaction, social skills and gymnastics fundamentals skills.
Session Information
SESSION TIMES
The gymnast will train 4 hours per week made up of 2 sessions lasting 2 hours. (we have a 2 week break over the Christmas period).
PRICE
Lessons are £89.55 per month, paid by Direct Debit.
DISCOUNTS
Discount price of £80.40. per month, paid by Direct Debit is available for families receiving Council Tax Reduction, Housing Benefit, Employment Support Allowance and Universal Credit.
CLOTHING
Gymnasts should wear a leotard and bring any equipment the coach recommends for that session.
BRING A DRINK
Don’t forget a drinks bottle – having fun is thirsty work!

We have a dedicated Gymnastics viewing room, which has a live feed, so you can relax and still watch your Child’s session. Collection and drop off is at Reception.
