Hundreds turned up to celebrate the first day of the track opening…

The sun shone on all those who took to the track on Saturday 23rd September which was the first day of opening to the public. Cycling clubs, families, young people and children enjoyed FREE access to the track.  British Cycling Ambassador and Para-Cyclist Track World Champion Daphne Schrager was there to show us how it’s done and share her top tips on being top of her game.

The track also had the thumbs up from British Cycling and Sport England cycling ambassador, world record holder (track and road)  and Olympic gold medallist Chris Boardman MBE who visited the facility as part of the Funders and Partners event.
