Halo is hugely excited to welcome Reg Curtis as its new Chair of the Board of Trustees. Bringing a wealth of business experience working in retail and commerce, Reg will be supporting our mission to make Halo the best in the business so we can invest more into the work we do in the communities where we’re based.
“As someone who loves sport (I am a bowls player), and the competition and comradery it brings, it is a complete privilege being able to apply my experience as a business leader to helping the Halo team fulfil their ambitions” says Reg.
“I have seen what Halo have achieved and understand their ambitions here. We want to keep prices down and drive our access policy so more people can use our centres, and benefit from the millions we’ve invested in them. We want to utilise the space we have to make room for even more activities, invest in technology so we can bring in the latest equipment and can keep the pace of change going.
“We know that there are cut price competitors out there,” adds Reg. “But we sense our members love that Halo is not only matching their offer but is accessible to and supporting members of the wider community, whatever their age, ability or disability.”
