Sensitive teeth (the ones that hate ice-cream at this time of year) for example are a sign of everything from poor diet to stress, which can in turn cause teeth grinding and subsequent wear and tear. That's why we're giving National Smile Month a shout out this May (it kicks off on the 13th and runs all the way to June 13th) which is all about showing off your teeth and raising awareness of the importance of good oral hygiene and ways - often simple, easy ways like flossing or renewing your brush - to prevent problems in the future.  

PS While you're thinking on that remember that smiling is a splendid way to boost your good looks, relieve stress (the actual process of smiling activates neural messaging in your brain triggering the release of mood-boosting chemicals), and makes everyone around you feel better too!
