If you’re feeling a little isolated, or living with a disability or dementia, or caring for a family or friend who is struggling, then we want to welcome you to a new kind of get together at Halo (and to pass on the invite to friends or family you think might want to come too!
When? Kicking off on April 8th with an introductory taster session, and then running weekly from May 13th, you’ll be welcomed for tea, coffee and cake and some (non obligatory) moving around (we wouldn't be Halo if we didn't try to get you moving) via some take-it-easy-favourites like bowling, curling, table tennis and badminton). This is all about meeting new friends, sharing chat, inspiring laughter and promoting good health and we'd love to welcome you to join the party.
How much? This is supported by Big Lottery Funding so costs just £2 per session (free to any carers) with refreshments included in the price.
Where? At Maesteg Sports Centre, Old Forge Site, Nant-y-Crynwydd CF34 9EB. Free parking available.
