Halo Sparks Gymnastics Club
We have an excellent regional gymnastics centre based at Hereford Leisure Centre.
Our Halo Sparks gymnastics programme starts as young as 18 months old and is designed for growing children to develop their gymnastics skills while helping keep them in the sport for as long as possible, whatever their level.
At Halo Sparks Gymnastics Club we are part of the National Gymnastics Awards Programme which means we follow a structured and progressive gymnastic based programme at each level.
Why we follow the National Gymnastics Award Programme
There is a continual progression without children being held back in any one area.
Children get a sense of achievement and progression with beautifully designed medals and awards at each level to encourage participation and continuation in the sport.
Children get their own progression book which gets marked off by our Halo Sparks coaches. This gives gymnasts, parents and coaches a record of achievement of skills learned and monitors progress.
Individual challenges – focusses on competition with self rather than against others.
Clear targets and highlights areas for extra work. This is shown in their progression book.
Prepares gymnasts for many areas of gymnastics from fundamentals to competitions.
