Elliot Evans: Pedaling with Purpose – 150 Miles for Hereford Hospital’s MRI Scanner

Elliot Evans, 34, from Hereford, has proven that determination and heart can overcome any challenge.

Despite living with cerebral palsy, Elliot works tirelessly at St Michael’s Hospice shop in Whitecross and recently completed a monumental 150-mile hand crank cycle challenge to raise funds for the MRI Scanner unit at Hereford Hospital.

Over the past four months, Elliot cycled at the Halo Cycle Track, demonstrating incredible resilience and dedication. On June 5th, he triumphantly completed his journey, riding from the track to Hereford General Hospital, escorted by Halo staff member, Chris Payne.

Elliot was greeted with cheers and applause from the hospital staff and the MRI Scanner fundraising team, who gathered to celebrate his inspiring achievement. His unwavering spirit and community support have made a significant impact, showing us all that with determination, anything is possible.

Let’s give a big round of applause to Elliot for his amazing accomplishment and his heartfelt contribution to our community!
