Discover the Joy of Swimming with Bubbles Awards!

At Halo, we believe that the journey to becoming a confident swimmer begins early and that means introducing babies and toddlers to the water in a fun and supportive environment.

The Bubbles Awards are all about helping young children gain water confidence while staying close to the support of a trusted adult (grown ups – that means you get to take part in the lesson by joining your child in the pool).

Progressing Through the Bubbles Awards

Four levels, each with its own unique certificate and badge. As your child progresses through the awards, they will develop essential water skills and confidence, preparing them for the next stage in their swimming journey.

Splash

Ages 3 - 4 years

Dive Deeper with Splash Awards!

After your child has mastered the Bubbles Awards, it’s time to take the next exciting step with our Splash Awards. Unlike the Bubbles awards, Splash lessons do not require grown ups to accompany the child in the water (our experienced swimming instructors are in the water with little ones). You can start your learn to swim journey here – your child does not have to have completed Bubbles first!

Progressing Through the Splash Awards

Six different colourful levels, each with its own certificate and badge. These awards guide your child through increasingly challenging skills, fostering independence and boosting their water confidence.

Autism Friendly Swimming Lessons in Wales

Autism Friendly Swimming Lessons

Ages 4 years plus

Building Water Confidence in a Sensory-Friendly Environment

Research shows that children on the autism spectrum are often naturally drawn to water but may not perceive its dangers. Our goal is to remove barriers to water safety and provide a supportive, sensory-friendly aquatic environment where neurodiverse swimmers can learn to stay safe, build confidence, and thrive.

Specialised Programmes Offered

  • Autism Swim Approved Sessions: Delivered by instructors specifically trained in sensory processing and neurodiverse aquatic safety.

  • Rockhopper SEN Swimming Lessons: Designed for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), moving away from traditional grading to focus on learning through play and individual milestones.

  • ALN (Additional Learning Needs) Lessons: Tailored specifically for children with ALN, prioritising a child-led pace and sensory comfort.

How to Register & Get Started

To ensure the best experience, our specialist instructors may arrange an informal assessment to place each swimmer in the group where they will feel most safe and comfortable.
