The gym - it’s more than just a place to work out or a place to sweat. It’s where you’ll find encouragement, motivation and camaraderie.

Whether you are just starting out or a gym regular, this is your space dedicated to helping you achieve your goals, push your limits, and embrace a healthier lifestyle.

The gym has a range of cardio and resistance equipment such as bikes and treadmills as well as plenty of free weights.

We’ve also got a dedicated strength and conditioning training area equipped with high end olympic benches, a functional training rig,  dumbbells, kettlebells, ski-ergs, 10m sled run, 3 lifting platforms, tyre flip etc.

A traditional gym not for you? Then try the Halo Toning Suite with its power-assisted exercise equipment for a low impact and gentle workout.

It’s all about exercising the entire body but without arduous effort! It has been called “stress free exercise” as it provides a far more relaxing workout than high impact, heavy sweating gym sessions.

30-minute circuit workout.
Power assisted exercise means you get the best workout working WITH the machine NOT against it.
Perfect for people facing medical or mobility challenges.
Ideal for people starting or returning to exercise after periods of inactivity or recovery from accident or illness.
No queuing for equipment as you book a time slot to suit.

Hereford’s latest addition, a 1km closed road, traffic-free circuit, provides cyclists of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to learn, train, and indulge in their sport without the hassle of navigating busy roads.

Find out what you’re made of with BODITRAX

FREE for members at Hereford Leisure Centre.  THE best way to monitor the impact of your workout.

Boditrax allows you to check up on your workout progress. We know you feel good when you work out. But however good it feels, you don’t always know what it’s actually doing to your body (inside and out)  or, indeed, whether you are reaching your goals. Boditrax can change that.

Simply stand on the Boditrax machine, create a login, and get some 20 statistics – all manner of bodymetrics – sent to your account so you can take a look on your mobile, tablet or PC. You’ll be able to check out classic measurements like your fat and muscle mass as well as ratings of bone mass or Basal Metabolic Rate (that’s your ability to burn the food you eat). It also tells you that all important figures – your metabolic age – ie what age your body is functioning at.  All the information you need to  make sure every minute you work out is making the positive difference you want. Remember – if you’re not assessing you’re guessing!
